The 2025 AHA Guidelines are now live as of October 22, 2025

Please use the links below to complete the required BLS and Heartsaver Instructor Updates. These updates are mandatory for all AHA instructors and must be completed by February 28, 2026, for each discipline you teach.

Important: Instructors may not begin teaching the 2025 AHA Curriculum until your instructor updates are complete and you have provided proof of purchase for the 2025 curriculum to the Training Center.

Note: Even if an instructor does not teach Heartsaver, the American Heart Association requires all BLS-aligned instructors to complete the 2025 Heartsaver Instructor Update.

After completing your updates, please email your completion certificates to [email protected] for compliance tracking. Once received, the Training Center will email you the updated 2025 BLS exams.

The American Heart Association (AHA) will release the new 2025 curriculum on October 22, 2025. Please be advised of the following important deadlines and compliance requirements:

Transition Timeline

  • Now through February 28, 2026: You may continue to use the 2020 materials during this period.
  • By February 28, 2026: All instructors must purchase and begin using the 2025 curriculum. We strongly encourage you not to wait until the last minute to make this transition.
  • Effective March 1, 2026: Any instructor who has not confirmed the purchase of new materials and completed the necessary updates will have their account deactivated until compliance is verified.

2025 Instructor Update Requirement

  • The 2025 AHA Instructor Update has been released on October 22, 2025. Completion of this update is mandatory for all instructors.
  • The update must be completed within 90 days of release—by January 20, 2026.
  • After completing the update, please email a copy of your completion certificate to the Training Center at [email protected].
  • Once received, you will be provided with the updated 2025 Written Exams.
  • Failure to complete the Instructor Update within the required timeframe will result in account deactivation.

Curriculum Purchase Verification

  • Instructors must email proof of purchase for the 2025 curriculum to the Training Center no later than February 28, 2026.
  • This step ensures all instructors have transitioned to the 2025 materials and are no longer using the 2020 version.

Please note: The AHA is placing increased emphasis on instructor compliance, and as a Training Center, CPR Solutions is required to do the same. We appreciate your continued dedication and hard work, especially during this time of change. Our goal is to ensure you remain compliant and in good standing with the AHA at all times.
