Course Policies

By registering for our courses, you agree to the following policies:

 

COURSE SCHEDULING & OUR CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: 

Our class schedules are subject to change prior to active registrations, but not when there is at least one student enrolled for the class, so it is to your advantage to register as early as possible to ensure that you can take the class on your preferred date and time.

While is it extremely rare, if your class is cancelled, we will gladly reschedule you to another class date or will provide you with a 100% refund.

Students must register and pay for the course prior to the class date and time. Registration will be closed 24 hours prior to the class. We currently do not accept walk-ins.

Due to classroom sizes and the AHA policy regarding Instructor to Student ratios our classes do fill up quickly. We do not overbook classes. We hope you understand and respect our policies regarding our attendance as well as rescheduling fees. 

CONFIRMATION EMAIL:

You will receive a confirmation email immediately following your registration that contains your receipt and important course information. An email will be sent out 1 day prior to the class with the course information regarding the class. This email will come from [email protected]. Please check your junk folder prior to contacting CPR Solutions regarding confirmation emails.

 

REFUND POLICY:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL – Course fees will NOT be refunded. You will be refunded any optional materials added-on during registration if they have not already have been shipped or received, less a 10% restocking fee. eBooks are not returnable or refundable.

Blended learning courses are not refundable under any circumstances, including, but not limited to, not having appropriate computer equipment / software capable of running the program or intermittent system outages on part of the AHA.

Instructor courses are not refundable.

 

ATTENDANCE POLICY:

Classes and skills sessions start promptly at the scheduled time.

All students must attend the full class duration. If a student must leave the class early, they will be required to take the entire course again.

 

NO SHOWS POLICY:

Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, PALS Instructor-Led CPR Class, you have up to 7 days to reschedule to our next instructor course.  A rescheduling fee of $10 must be paid prior to rescheduling. We will not refund registration fees for “no shows” under any circumstance.  You will forfeit your class registration fee if you do not reschedule your course within 7 days of the original class and will be required to pay the registration fee again to attend a class.

If you are a no show for the Instructor Training Course, you will be charged a $50 no show fee. There are no refunds for Instructor Courses, under any circumstance.  You will forfeit your class registration fee if you do not reschedule your course within 7 days of the original class and will be required to pay the registration fee again to attend a class. CPR Solutions allows you to reschedule your class to the next available Instructor Course.

 

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY:

You must be on-time for class, as we cannot delay our class start time to accommodate late arrivals. Our classes start on-time, and arriving later than 5 minutes after the class starts will be considered as a no show and will require rescheduling. A $10 late rescheduling fee will apply. Fees must be paid prior to rescheduling the class.

 

RESCHEDULING POLICY:

Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, PALS Instructor-Led CPR Classes

Students are allowed one (1) rescheduling at no additional charge at least 72 hours prior to the class start time.

If the student cancels within 72 hours notice to reschedule before the class start time, a rescheduling fee of $10 will apply.

Classes must be rescheduled within 60 days of the original class date with a maximum of two (2) rescheduled classes.

BLS/ACLS/PALS Instructor Training

Students are allowed one (1) rescheduling at no additional charge. Subsequent rescheduled Instructor Training will result in a $100 rescheduling fee.

The above policy applies to any class registration processed through our system. By registering for your course, you agree to these terms.  The terms are non-modifiable and non-negotiable once your registration has been processed.

 

REQUIRED CLASS MATERIALS:

Participants are required to have the latest edition American Heart Association Provider Manual for BLS, ACLS, or PALS.  You may purchase the required book for class

  • During class registration
  • At the training facility (Cash Only)
  • Through other distributors

Students will not be allowed to attend class without the required book. Book sharing is not permitted; each student will require their own copy of the manual.

Heartsaver manuals will be provided to all students digitally and the student will receive the eBook via email at least one day prior to the course.

Blended learning (Heartcode) courses already provide digital versions of the book within the online course module.

 

COURSE COMPLETION & PROVIDER CARDS:

Course completion or Provider eCards for American Heart Association Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, and PALS course completion sessions will be issued within 6 hours following the completion of the course requirements at the end of the scheduled class or skills session. eCards will be issued in all classes.

All course completion / Provider eCards are valid for two (2) years.

Instructor eCards will not be issued to the Instructor until successful completion of the Instructor Monitor and the Instructor Monitor Form has been signed and returned to the Training Center Coordinator.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
