We wanted to address some ongoing challenges the Admin Team is facing with non-compliant class rosters, card orders, and other required paperwork. Please understand this message is shared with the utmost respect and appreciation for the important work you do.
Unfortunately, on average, 8 out of every 10 submissions we receive are flagged for non-compliance. This significantly delays the processing of cards and creates additional strain on our Admin Team. We’re reaching out to ask for your partnership and diligence in ensuring your submissions meet AHA and CPR Solutions standards.
As an AHA Instructor, you are ultimately responsible for:
- Accurately completing all required class paperwork and card orders.
- Teaching your courses in alignment with AHA guidelines and official Lesson Maps.
- Administering the correct exams for your courses.
- Regularly logging into the ATLAS system to review updates, guidelines, and ECC Beat communications.
- Reading all email updates from the AHA and CPR Solutions.
- Ensuring your contact information is current so you receive all critical communications.
The administrative team is currently spending a substantial amount of time communicating back and forth with Instructors and Training Sites to resolve preventable issues that delay card processing. This time could be better spent supporting you in more meaningful ways—before issues arise.
We want to remind everyone that all Instructors and Training Sites have access to the same resources as the Admin Team, including:
- The AHA Program Administration Manual (PAM), available in ATLAS.
- Your Instructor Manuals, which detail course requirements such as run times, ratios, required modules, and testing protocols.
- The CPR Solutions Policy and Procedures Manual, a streamlined reference guide that outlines the most essential AHA and CPR Solutions policies.
- The PowerPoint presentation provided during your CPR Solutions Instructor course, which covers key administrative responsibilities.
Please know that we are always here to support you. If you are unsure about a requirement or need clarification, we encourage you to reach out before submitting your paperwork. It’s much easier to assist you in advance than to reject a card order due to errors.
If your submissions are already fully compliant—thank you sincerely. Your attention to detail and professionalism are truly appreciated.
If you’re facing challenges or have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are here to help you succeed and to ensure CPR Solutions remains in excellent standing with the American Heart Association.
Thank you for your time, commitment, and continued partnership.
